Pittsburgh, PA

We ate breakfast in Sewickley with Juj's family, it seemed like her mom told the entire town about our trip! After brunch we drove into the city for the Pirates v. Braves game, it wasn't far, took about 15 minutes to get to the stadium and it was very easy to park.

Funniest part of our arrival at the park was Sonia being offered a hat for kids under 12! We found our $9 seats, they were way up in the nosebleed section down the 1st base line. The stadium was HUGE, and it had a gorgeous skyline view of the city.

the view from our seats.

The atmosphere at the park was so different than Fenway. The crowd just didn't get into the game at all. The Pirates ended up winning 5-2, we saw a few home runs (and the fireworks display after), and the hot dog race that happens in the 7th inning.

amazing view of the city.
After the game it took about 2 minutes to get out of town, what a difference from Fenway. We took Juj home, grabbed our stuff, and were on the road by 5:00pm.

Welcome to West Virginia!
We drove through a small part of West Virginia and then into Ohio. We stopped for dinner and gas, paid $1.88 a gallon (so cheap!) and started on our way again to Indianapolis.

Running through cornfields in Ohio.
We arrived at our somewhat sketchy hotel at 11:30pm. We all crammed into one room, we purchased a self-inflating air mattress before we left, best $10 we ever spent!
