Sox in St. Louis

We drove the five hours from Indianapolis to St. Louis, and explored the city a little bit before the 7:00pm game. We went to the Arch and everyone but me went to the top. The ride up is in this little tram with no windows.

We arrived at Busch Stadium in plenty of time for batting practice. We were lucky to be seeing the Sox in St. Louis and we wanted to take it all in. There were tons of Sox fans around, so fun! We got down in the first row of the bleachers and held up our banner, quite a few of the players read it. Mike Myers came over and signed it.

Our seats were decent, dead center field. The Sox played horrible and got crushed 7-1. It wasn't much of a game and the atmosphere did not compare to Fenway.

 After the game we drove to Rip's best friend Maria's apartment where we stayed the night.
