Minneapolis (Day #21)
We spent today in Minneapolis. We explored the bike paths around some of the lakes, and then hit up a Twins game tonight. Of the 30 stadiums, Andy has now been to 28 and I have been to 24.
Hadley was excited to see Andy when we got back to the car after the game!

Day #19 & Day #20
Day #19 - we drove 391.4 miles from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Winnipeg, Manitoba. There was a lot of nothing to look at, a pretty boring ride.
We camped at a KOA campground just outside of Winnipeg, it wasn't the best campground but it was fine for a night. We had bought stuff to make sandwiches, so we didn't even have a fire.
Day #20 - we drove 454.8 miles to Plymouth, MN (Just outside of Minneapolis). We are here for two nights, tomorrow we are going to check out a Twins game. We found a place to walk and Hadley and Andy tired each other out - before heading back to the hotel to call it a night.

Banff National Park (Day #15-18) & Drive to Moose Jaw
Well we just spent three nights at a campground in Lake Louise Village, which is about 30 minutes west of the town of Banff. We slept in a little the morning we left Calgary and then we drove the 2.5 hours to our campground. (Oh and Andy bought a guitar!!)
First to describe our campground, there was an electrical fence that surrounded the entire campground to protect us from the Grizzly Bears! And there was even an electrical area that you had to drive over in your car, so it was 100% protected. The campground worked out well though, it was a good location and we spent three nights there. Thankfully we saw no bears!
On the first official day in the park we explored the Lake Louise area. There are a couple beautiful lakes that are right on the base of the mountains. (See photos below) The views are just amazing. We have seen some really beautiful sites on this trip.
On the second full day we explored the town of Banff. We even took Hadley on a Gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain!
Finally on Day #18 of our trip, we got up early this morning and drove the 532.5 miles to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The town is pretty good sized, but it is in the middle of nowhere! Tomorrow we are off to Winnepeg and then back to the US on Monday.

Glacier Park Day #2 to Calgary (Day #14)
Miles: 300.8
Rollins, MT to Calgary, AB
Hadley and I have officially been traveling for two weeks! It has gone by so quickly.
Today we left the campground by 9, we did some laundry in Kalispell and then drove up into Glacier Park again. We drove the Road to the Sun again, this time completely through the park. It took a couple hours and the views were unbelievable.
At the end of the road, we went to a place called Park Cafe for Pie. It came recommended to us, and it was delicious! We then drove the three hours or so to Calgary. (the Yellow Field picture below is on the way to Calgary, it was beautiful!)
We are staying in Calgary tonight in a hotel, and then heading to Banff for three nights tomorrow. We got to the hotel, put the tv on and the news was WBZ out of Boston! Kind of crazy!

Glacier (Day #13)
Today we drove about half of the Road to the Sun road through Glacier National Park. The views were amazing to say the least. The road was crazy narrow and windy.
We drove back to our same campsite for the night and saw an awesome sunset while drinking a beer on the shore of the lake.

Yellowstone Day Two (Day #11)
Miles: 385.9
Dubois, WY to Butte, MT
We were up and out early today, left the campground by 7pm. We arrived at Yellowstone a little before 9am and spent the day exploring. We saw a Grizzly Bear, Black Bear, lots of Elk and some Bison. Hadley sat quietly and watched all the animals, she was too scared to do anything else.
After spending most of the day in Yellowstone, we drove a couple hours out of the North park to Butte Montana where we are spending the night.

Badlands & Mt Rushmore (Day #8)
Miles: 264.3
Wall, SD to Lusk, WY through Badlands & Rushmore
We were up and out early this morning. By 9am we had both gone for a run (separately), showered, had breakfast, walked to Wall Drug, shopped, walked back to the hotel, checked out, and gotten gas! Haha.
We drove through Badlands National Park, Andy had been there before so I walked around a little, but for the most part we just drove through and stopped at the lookouts to take pictures. It was beautiful. It actually looked a lot like Cappadocia, Turkey!
After the Badlands we drove to Mt Rushmore - Andy had been here before so I just got out and walked around it for about 30 minutes while he stayed in the car.
After the presidents, we found a nice place in Keystone to have a picnic, ate a late lunch, and then drove the rest of the way to Lusk, WY. We are staying at a small local hotel called the Lusk Townhouse. We were pleasantly surprised when we got here to see that there are three queen beds in our room! Hadley has already claimed hers!
